Health Information Technology for HIV
Managing clinical data to organise, plan and provide medical and social care to people living with chronic diseases is becoming ever more complex, and Janssen Diagnostics is working with customers and collaborators in the United States and Europe to respond to this. For personalization of healthcare, specific information that can inform treatment pathways and choices will be derived from a multiple number of sources and diagnostics, requiring analytical support and interpretation. Janssen Diagnostics is currently engaged in:
- Developing electronic health record and longitudinal registry platforms for applications for HIV and hepatitis C medicine to manage clinical care, as well as gain insights from the aggregated, de-identified datasets
- Looking to develop clinical decision support platforms and tools to enhance clinical decision making with the relevant information at the right time for the clinician and the patient.
