VircoNET2™
How does vircoNET2TM work
The vircoNET2™ interface is a proprietary online software delivery system which, after registration, allows secure and rapid exchange of genotype sequences between the referring lab (commercial or research) and Virco.

Once processed, virco®TYPE HIV-1 reports are available through the vircoNET delivery system in a real-time and controlled setting for viewing, printing or downloading at any time.
The main features of vircoNET2™ software are:
- Uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to ensure encrypted communication
- Designed for compliance with applicable data privacy requirements, including but not limited to HIPAA, and facilitates secure data transmission
- Assures flexibility and longevity with our JAVA-based application
- Automatically downloads software updates
- Performs all data back-ups and assures information integrity
- Uses a straightforward, intuitive interface which standardizes and optimizes functions
- Accessible by multiple computers
- Provides efficient workflow via extensive import/export capabilities
- Offers fast navigation through records with practical filter and sorting features
- Accepts several file formats, including plain text, fasta, grf, and delimited files
- Imports sequences one-by one, or in batches
- Routinely aligns sequences, typically without the need for additional software
- Delivers "real-time reporting" of patient results to your site within minutes
